Dr. Sujatha
Ramesh is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and
Immunology (ABAI) and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is and a Fellow of
the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI). She is a
licensed medical practitioner in the state of New York, USA.
Dr. Sujatha Ramesh did her Pediatric Residency and
Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology from the State University of New York at
Buffalo (SUNY), USA. She served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics
at SUNY at Buffalo in the Division of Allergy and Immunology at the Women and
Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She is a Fulbright Scholarship recipient.
Internationally recognized for her outstanding clinical skills and
compassionate care, she has been given the Muriel C Furlong Award by the Food
Allergy Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN)USA, and the Warren J Perry Award by the
American Lung Association. She has received research grants from the Robert
Wood Johnson Foundation and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), USA. She was
a William S Pierson visiting Professor from the American Academy of Allergy
Asthma & Immunology. In addition to several publications in leading
international peer- reviewed journals she has published more than fifty
abstracts and has given over a hundred lectures in international conferences.
She was the President of the Buffalo Allergy Society and a member of the New
York State Asthma Guidelines committee. Her research interests include the
prevention and management food allergy and the impact of urbanization and
lifestyle changes on the development of asthma and allergic diseases.
Dr. Sujatha
Ramesh is an internationally recognized pediatric allergy and asthma specialist
who specializes in treating a wide range of allergic conditions such as Asthma,
Allergic Rhinitis, Food Allergies and Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal
diseases. Consultations are available for infants, children, adolescents
and teenagers. After a detailed history and clinical examination, allergy
skin tests will be performed when indicated. Treatment plans are
individualized and extensive counselling regarding treatment and prevention are
offered.
