Dr.Spurthi Reddy is a Consultant Pediatric Allergy and Asthma specialist at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. She is a Hyderabad native who has returned to this region after having successfully trained in U.S.A and Singapore.
Dr.Spurthi received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, completed her residency (Specialty training) in Pediatrics at State University of New York, Medical Science center at Brooklyn, USA. She is an American board certified Pediatrician.
Dr.Spurthi’s fellowship (Sub- specialty) training in Allergy and Asthma was completed at KK Women’s and children’s hospital, which is the largest children’s hospital in Singapore. It was this vision to develop high quality Pediatric Allergy services which brought her back to India. She has presented posters and papers in Various International Allergy conferences.
She is a member of World Allergy Organization (WAO), European Academy of Allergy and Immunology (EAACI), Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society Singapore. Dr.Spurthi Chitta treats children with asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), hives (urticaria), food allergies (like the milk, egg allergy), drug allergies, chronic rhinitis, house dust mite allergies (commonly called as the dust allergy), allergic conjunctivitis.
